As a mom and a photographer, I know how much these memories matter. I love flipping through our family albums, seeing my daughter grow and change, and remembering each moment. But there’s always that one question: “Mom, where are you? Were you with us?” And the answer is yes, I was there—behind the camera, capturing the memories but rarely in them.

That’s why I created our 12-Month Family Photography Program. This program is about moms (and dads!) being in those joyful moments with their children. It’s about the laughs, the hugs, and the little looks, captured beautifully, month after month. It’s about giving families, especially moms, the chance to be remembered and cherished in the photos that will live on for generations.

• January – Let It Snow! Cozy up in the winter wonderland, capturing the magic of a snowy scene with your family.
• February – Loads of Love. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with heartwarming photos that celebrate family love. (And dads are welcome to join!)
• March – Easter Minis. With winter still holding strong here in the Black Hills, this cozy indoor setup brings springtime magic without braving the snow.
• April – Mother’s Day Moments. A special mini-session that puts moms in the spotlight, with beautiful images perfect for sharing on Mother’s Day.
• May – Springtime Joy. Whether we’re outdoors or indoors due to spring rains, May’s session is all about fresh, vibrant moments.
• June – Father’s Day Celebrations. Here, we let Dad be the hero, capturing him with the kids in ways that bring out his strength, love, joy, and playfulness
• .July – Picnic & Patriotic Fun. Think watermelon, picnics, and maybe a hint of red, white, and blue for a perfect summer session.
• August – Back to School! Capture the excitement of new school beginnings and celebrate milestones.
• September – Sunflowers & Camping. We’ll enjoy blooming sunflowers and a cozy camping theme (with a Photoshop fire added in!).
• October – Pumpkins & Halloween Magic. Seasonal fun with costumes, pumpkins, and Halloween smiles.
• November – Red Truck Minis. My dream setup! This classic, cozy setup is perfect for the holiday season card.
• December – Christmas Minis. From baking cookies and toasting hot chocolate to Christmas PJs, December is all about family togetherness.

Each month, we’ll create a setup that’s perfect for family photos, birthdays, and special milestones. All you have to do is show up, and together, we’ll capture memories that will last a lifetime.
